Oakville is located in Washington State, 12 miles west of Interstate 5 on Highway 12. Oakville is the southeastern gateway to Grays Harbor County. Its rural setting offers rustic charm combined with affordable housing and within close proximity to Puget Sound, Hood Canal, the Olympic Mountains, and the Pacific Ocean. It also offers the convenience of the Chehalis River and other local streams and waterways. Adding to the cultural richness of the district is the reservation of the Confederated Tribes of the Chehalis. Our district maintains close ties and working relationships with The Chehalis Tribe. Over 35% of our students are Native American. Our neighboring school districts are Rochester and Elma.
